WrapLab EV Privacy Policy Draft

Overview

WrapLab EV is an independent EV wrap preview and file-handoff utility. The app helps users browse wrap concepts, import user-selected images, preview designs on fixed-angle vehicle references, and prepare PNG files for a USB handoff.

WrapLab EV is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.

Data Collection

The current release build does not collect personal data, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track users across apps or websites.

The app does not require an account for the current release workflow.

User-Selected Photos

Users may choose an image from their photo library through the system photo picker. The selected image is used as a local wrap concept reference inside the app's preview/export workflow.

WrapLab EV does not access the user's full photo library. The app receives only the image selected by the user through the system picker.

Selected images are not uploaded by the current release build unless the user explicitly exports, shares, or otherwise sends the resulting file outside the app through system sharing tools.

Generated And Exported Files

The app may create local PNG export packages, including a Wraps folder, README.txt, and manifest.json, so the user can review and move files to a USB drive. These files are stored locally on the device or in temporary app storage until the user shares, saves, deletes, or the system clears them.

Generated package metadata may include technical details such as vehicle selection, file name, canvas size, byte count, generated timestamp, source label, and ready-check results. This metadata is used to help users verify the handoff.

Network Use

The current release build uses bundled fallback marketplace data when no backend URL is configured. If a future production backend, AI provider, analytics, payments, or account system is enabled, this policy and the App Store privacy labels must be updated before release.

Tracking

WrapLab EV does not track users across third-party apps or websites in the current release build.

Children

WrapLab EV is not directed to children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when app features, backend services, or data handling change. The latest version should be published at the privacy-policy URL used in App Store Connect.
